La Aparecida is a small village located in the heart of the Vega Baja countryside complimented by the stunning backdrops of the Sierra de Orihuela mountain range. Alicante.
Known as the City of Light, Alicante is only an hours drive from La Aparecida and is full of fun, entertainment, restaurants, shops, parks and historical places of interest. The wonderful sandy beach stretches for around 4 miles and has numerous cafe's, restaurants and a variety of water sports to enjoy.
If your looking for culture then the neo classical theatre dating back to 1847, has a variety of ballets & opera's on offer and there is also the mediaeval Castle of Santa Barbara, which is also well worth a visit.
For a touch of pure indulgence, the Alicante Marina is definitely the place to be seen with many refined restaurants and eateries, you can experience the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere whilst watching the world go by.
